Movie Mugs – Wet Hot American Summer

23 Sep

The setting is Camp Firewood (a fictional Jewish summer camp), the year is 1981. In one of the opening scenes, we meet Camp Director Beth, who struggles to keep her counselors and campers in order. Being that it’s the last day of camp, what’s the point?! Hang out on the cabin porch with a cup of coffee, sit back and relax. They’ll all be gone soon! As the cast of character begin to run amuck, Beth has no choice but to get back into the game for one last day, as there’s still a summer’s worth of unfinished business to resolve.

A gifted cast and stellar writing makes this overlooked comic gem worth a peek. Now finish up those drinks and get to it. We’re gonna go fondle our sweaters.

I’m thinking of serving Broccoli with Chedder cheese tonight for dinner.

    Poor Gene.
